Scidan Consulting Group LLC (“Scidan,” “we”) operates scidan.com. This policy explains what information the site collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers this website only. Information exchanged under client engagements and other business relationships is governed by the agreements for those relationships.
What we collect
Information you send us. If you email us or subscribe to Insights, we receive your name, email address, company and anything else you choose to include.
Usage information. With your consent where the law requires it, the site uses HubSpot cookies to record which pages you visit, how you arrived (for example, from LinkedIn or a search engine), the links that brought you here, and general location derived from your IP address. Our web host, Netlify, keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, to operate and secure the site.
Fonts. The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when a page loads.
How we use it
We use this information to respond to inquiries, send Insights to subscribers, understand which articles and channels are useful to readers, and keep the site secure. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Who we share it with
We use service providers that process information on our behalf: HubSpot (analytics, forms and email), Netlify (hosting) and Google (fonts). We may also disclose information when the law requires it or to protect our rights.
Cookies and your choices
Visitors in the European Union, the United Kingdom and other places that require consent see a banner and can accept or decline analytics cookies. They can change that choice at any time through the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. Visitors elsewhere can block or delete cookies in their browser settings.
Every Insights email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us at any time to stop emailing you.
Retention
We keep subscriber and contact information until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Analytics data is kept according to HubSpot’s standard retention settings.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. Email info@scidan.com and we will respond within 30 days.
